REVIEW: Sea Life Aquarium Grapevine - Dallas/Ft. Worth

While visiting Grapevine, TX last weekend a great indoor attraction there is Sea Life Aquarium, conveniently located in Grapevine Mills Mall. The attraction is small and well contained so you can easily keep up with your little ones on the go. The aquarium does a great job of incorporating conservation into its venue – including a green sea turtle rescue, a seafood watch that shares information about purchasing seafood from a sustainable source with the help of their handy guide, and lake clean-up events that you can volunteer in and do your part at a local level. The aquarium includes 16 interactive zones – many of which appeal to kids and make you feel part of your surroundings including a viewing window where little ones can climb in and be surrounded by sea life, or touch tanks where they can touch starfish of many colors and shapes. Stingray Bay is at height level for kids for them to easily observe and interact with these fascinating creatures. The ocean tunnel is an immersive aquatic exhibit where you are surrounded above your head and below your feet with underwater animals – it’s a breathtaking view you have to experience to believe! There are plenty of educational talks by trained staff and a conservation theatre that shows a video of their sea turtle rescue program. I highly recommend Sea Life Aquarium to those with a passion for marine life and who enjoy an interactive learning experience.
