Sea World San Diego is THE Perfect family attraction when visiting San Diego. As you enter the park, there is a touch tank with minnows in it. It was a perfect way to transition into the park and appealed to all ages. The staff was attentive, kind and helpful. Everyone I asked for help knew the answer and gave it with a smile. The Wild Arctic ride simulator was realistic and made you feel a part of the excursion on a helicopter; it ended with a viewing of a beluga whale and sea lions. The conveyor belt worked well at the penguin exhibit and allowed ample viewing for each visitor and overall crowd control. Calypso Cafe was our restaurant pick and and served flavorful battered fish and a great fresh salad option. Sesame Street area had great kid friendly ride options for toddler and school age kids alike and an opportunity for character meet n' greets with a minimal wait time. Overall a great family option with plenty of attractions and shows to appeal to young and young at heart!
