REVIEW: Georgia Aquarium

Sponsored by Georgia Aquarium

July 24, 2019

Atlanta was our destination for summer vacation this year! My husband and I, plus our 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son. We visited Georgia Aquarium and were not disappointed. This multi-level attraction is one of the top ranked aquariums in the nation and it's easy to see why! All attractions are indoors, including many similar sea life shows you would find outdoors at Sea World. The one show we watched was the sea lion show. It was high energy and full of laughs, as these animals have a lot of personality and energy. The 30 minute show kept our kids' attention and also included fun music as the soundtrack for the sea lion and their tricks.

Many of the exhibits allowed you to have close encounters with their underwater animals, including the opportunity for kids to climb into a clear tunnel and come face to face with a tank of piranhas or for kids to stick their head up into a prairie dog type underground opening and be surrounded by penguins. A walk-through exhibit of sharks, fish, and other sea life put you right in the middle of the action as it surrounded and immersed you in the full aquarium experience.
