About me
I came from the Windy City to Space City in Summer of '22. Prior to arriving in Houston, I was self-employed as a dedicated nail artist in Chicago for 9 years. Before that, I've worked in the event planning and travel industries. My 5yr old dreamboy calls me Mamá, and he keeps me on my toes; he's also my motivation for joining Macaroni KID. At 3 weeks young he was out in restaurants and museums with us and we have always tried to really balance the fun activities around town with down time at home. Both are needed.
Still being relatively new to Houston, we definitely make time for the good stuff like cultural, musical, unique, interactive, creative and educational events. And now that I have this platform, I want to promote community businesses. And that's what I will bring to you.
There are events by the dozens and they're not always curated. As I learn more about you and get feedback, I can really get to know more of what you want to see featured. We're all inundated with information daily, it's hard to keep up and it's challenging to get out the house sometimes. I want to simplify the where to go and what to do part for you.
